Why is PC fabrication preferred over metals and glass?


The robust features of Polycarbonate make it the most preferred material for manufacturers and end-users. Fabrication of a polycarbonate sheet is for the flexibility associated with PC. There are many reasons for Polycarbonate to rule the trends in durability over the traditional glass or nay other metal. Here are a few ideas as to why PC is the emerging favorite: 

1 - Polycarbonate has very high heat resistance, and it combines with flame-retardant materials. In essence, they are plastics in use for more capable materials as in impact-resistant transparent glassy surfaces.

There are still many BPA free polycarbonates that have become marketable and popular for applications involving perishable foods and water.
